The Froth House Mission
Our mission is to provide a public house for the community to enjoy fine food and beverages in an artistically stimulating environment. Our business practices focus on providing our neighborhood with a social gathering point featuring locally produced ingredients, home grown artists and musicians, and utilizing sustainable energy sources.
Who we are
Lucky 13 Enterprises is comprised of two members; Dean Welch and Terese Dietrich. Our sole venture at this time is The Froth House which started in August of 2006. Terese also serves as the General Manager of the Froth House on a full-time, regular basis.
What we do here
The Froth House is an Art House Café; not only do we serve delicious food and beverages, we also provide a space for our community to enjoy Fine Arts. We make donations to local organizations to improve their services to the community. Other activities we host include:
Live music- We have hosted multiple performances, both inside and in our outside patio. The music ranges in styles; Gypsy Swing Jazz, Americana, Flamenco, Cajun, Bossnova, and Folk. All of our music events are free and open to all ages.
Annual West High School Art Show – hosting the art of the Art Seminar course in February has been a real pleasure. We are honored to offer a professional experience to the up an coming artists from West High.
Poetry readings and Book Clubs- The Regent Neighborhood Poetry Club meets here to share their original compositions as well as those written by their favorite poets.
Book clubs are welcome to use our space, in the past arrangements have been made to ensure adequate seating. Contact Terese for more information.
Wine tasting-learn how to describe and taste the complex flavors of wines from around the world. We also give information about purchasing and food pairing. These events are held throughout the year. Stay tuned for the next event.
Coffee Cuppings – similar to a wine tasting, coffee cuppings are the method growers, roast masters use to analyze coffee quality and flavors. We hold coffee cuppings throughout the year to those who are interested in gaining a more in depth understanding and appreciation about one of our favorite beverages, coffee!
